Lightscline

MULTI-MODAL OCEAN INTELLIGENCE

Turn massive, multi-modal subsea data into decisions in near real time.

Lightscline’s on-site AI infrastructure aligns DAS, ADCP, seismic, tidal, weather, geophone, and hydrophone data—accelerating workflows that previously took months or years.

WHERE LIGHTSCLINE FITS

One workflow from raw sensing to operational intelligence.

Built for domain experts who need to discover, validate, and deploy meaningful signatures without adding a matching amount of infrastructure.

01

One platform, many sensing modalities

Pull, align, visualize, and interrogate DAS, ADCP, ocean-bottom seismometers, NOAA records, moorings, CTD, AIS, and acoustic data in one coherent workflow.

02

Seafloor science at operational speed

Diagnose cable coupling, identify microseismicity, resolve infragravity and Scholte waves, and discover tidal modulation without manually stitching together deployment-specific notebooks.

03

Maritime domain awareness

Track vessels and validate DAS-derived signatures against independent AIS ground truth—creating new intelligence from fiber already on the seabed.

MULTI-MODAL DATA DISCOVERY

From heterogeneous sensor streams to interpretable ocean events.

Lightscline brings together DAS, ADCP, weather, tidal records, geophones, and hydrophones—with NOAA and USGS data—to explore a deployment as one connected physical system.

01 · ANALYTICAL VIEW

Connect fiber response to ocean flow

Geo-Sense DAS energy is aligned with independent ADCP current measurements to test relationships between seafloor response and changing flow.

Geo-Sense DAS energy aligned with ADCP mean flow velocity

The same discovery workflow transfers to vibration, seismic, flow, acoustic, and other high-frequency industrial datasets.

REAL DEPLOYMENTS · REAL DATA

Continental-scale sensing from existing fiber.

Lightscline has analyzed more than 50 TB from West Coast subsea cables, turning distributed fiber into a dense observational network.

PROOF POINT

From years of analysis to a two-month sprint

In partnership with MBARI, Lightscline combined portable seafloor DAS, ADCP, NOAA tidal records, seismic catalogs, and archival MARS data. The peer-reviewed study detected all 32 nearby cataloged earthquakes and surfaced 26 additional transient events.
